My Days are Numbered

The days of school for me are coming to a close
I really think i deserve an honorary rose
I did my time in the halls of this school
Now the administration has no rule
Free I am, free as a bird
You have my word

Now that this chapter is coming to an end
Another one is about to begin
The thrills and chills of college await
Scholarships are bait
To get you to attend the best college there is
It really doesn’t take a wiz

Before I begin that chapter however
I plan to not want this coming summer to end ever
Full of friends and fun
Oh we’ll run and gun
Some of my friends I may never see again
But that is how some things end
I will make the most of this summer vacation
I’ll make it the best in the nation

It’s so cold in Springfield. I want to be where the sun shines all day and the beach is right in front of you. Oh wait! I was at a place like that over spring break. Hahaha! While all of you were doing whatever you were doing, I was soaking up the sun in beautiful Hawaii! It was so awesome there! I really did not want to come back home. I wanted to just stay there for the rest of my life.

The school we went to (not sure how to spell it) was Wianii. I know they will be upset because I can’t spell it. That was awesome! We did so many things there; like surfing, dolphin watching, and we had a cookout. Then after our two awesome days there, we went to Waikiki Beach and spent the rest of our trip there.

Everyone that went had a blast. Lauren had a little trouble though, but she got through it. The only problem was we took one more girl on the trip than we needed to :) haha.

That’s it…..

Aloha!

So it’s second semester and I’ve caught something that is dire and there is no cure for it. It’s called……senioritous. Oh my, this disease is a terrible thing to catch. You don’t want to go to school or even get up in the morning. There is an anti-biotic for it though. It’s called Spring Break and it’s right around the corner and I can’t wait.

So we are going to Hawaii for Spring Break and I cannot wait to go! It’s gonna be awesome! We leave on the fifteenth I think. I heard the Students at a high school there (I withheld their name because I can’t spell it right) are going to throw us a huge pig roast and teach us to surf! I’m real excited.

So school is almost done for me. I’m excited for college, even though I have no idea where I am going.

Thats it…

Brrrr…..

So as the rest of the staff was out in California partying and winning all those awards. I was stuck here in Springfield, MO…I called one of the staffers one day and they said it was a sunny sixty degrees outside. You wanna know what it was here in Springfield? A bitter cold twenty-five! I will say that not having to do anything in class for a whole week was very nice.

In my last blog I talked about a sold out shirt. So guess what?!?!?!?!!?!?!? I found it!! I was about two hundred some miles away in Tulsa, OK. When my eyes saw that marvelous shirt they light up and I fell in love! The shirt is awesome I might add and the ladies love it.

So the buzz-a-thon is coming up! Hope you watch it. Cause i know i will be watching….no working it. Ugh….

How many days till Hawaii?

So this year Christmas seemed like it came and gone in a flash. Usually I count the days till Christmas and bug my mom for a early Christmas present. However, this year was different. Christmas snuck up on me and I almost missed it. And now that its gone I can’t wait for next year even though it will be totally different from this years because I’ll be in college.

Once again, and I’m not complaining, all I got for Christmas was clothes. Thats all I asked for. I got some sweet Michael Jordan apparel. Just ask my friends I wish I was him. I got everything I wanted…….except for a certain dress shirt. There is this orange, green, and navy stripped Jordan shirt with a cool design and the Jordan logo. Oh I wanted it soooooooo bad!!! But it was sold out everywhere, even online!!!!!!

So we, excuse me, they leave for California soon and I’m not going, so it’ll will be party time in HTV!! Haha.

Thats it……

My project on our last HTV was the commentary. I worked with Aleshia and she is a GREAT partner……ha. Anyway, we had trouble deciding what it was gonna be on. We had three ideas: PDA, bad driving and having me do one. Yeah, thats right I said it. Me, doing a commentary, hahahahaha. So we ended up doing it on PDA and it turned out ok. Aleshia and I had trouble thinking of funny inserts. So that made it tough to make a good and funny commentary. Coach even said it was ok! Thats something that many don’t achieve unless your n…….well I won’t go there.

The Buzz-a-thon has been moved to later this school year. We don’t know what the theme is yet. And you know I don’t really care.

ERIN FREEMAN WAS THE STAR of my commentary. That’s it…

Well, we finally had our homecoming. It’s first date was September 21 and then they just kept pushing it back. I couldn’t wait any longer!!!!! Then it came and it was over in a flash. Don’t you hate it when that happens! When you are just so excited for something and then in a blink of an eye it’s over. Well, thats how I felt after the dance.

I went with a super awesome girl. She was a great date. You know something that wasn’t great? The box. At our dances we have something called the box and all it is is a big box in the middle of the gym that we dance on. This year we got a new one and there was room for about five of us up there! It was ridiculous!

The best part of the dance by far (besides my date) was the last song. The played “Crank That” by Soulja Boy Tell Em’. Everyone in the gym was doing the dance and it was a great ending to an awesome night!

That’s it….

Air Ball

I have been emabarrassed plenty of times in my life, like many other people. Now I can’t recall of of them, but there is one that sticks out in my mind. We have to rewind all the way back to my freshman year, 2004. I was a strapping young lad with a bright future ahead of me, on the basketball court that is.

I got moved up to JV for the last couple games of the season. It was my third game on JV to be exact. This particular game was in Camdenton. All of a sudden I hear Coach yell “Hey Fielding! Go in.” Now I would like to say I got right up and took the bull by the horns. However, my heartbeat started beating so loud they could hear it back in Springfield. Anyways, I go in and I start playing alright. Then it happened…. We ran an inbound play and I was wide open! I got the ball and threw it up (right under the basket mind you)! And……….Air Ball!

My heart sank and my face turned into a ripe red tamato. I was so embarassed. I’m just glad it was in Camdenton.

Thats it…

Let My People Go

When Israel was in Egypt’s land, let my people go! Oppressed so hard they could not stand, let my people go! Go down, Moses, way down in Egypt’s land; Tell old Pharaoh to let my people go! Now of course you know those are the lyrics to “Let My People Go”. Also, you know Moses is pretty cool. Freeing the isrealites from Egypt, parting the Red Sea, and leading his people to the promised land, all with God’s help of course. Moses is the man with the plan and he is also in my favorite story.

Now if I was up in the moutains and I saw a burning bush I wouldn’t be talking to it. I would be screaming and yelling and running my little behind back down to civiliazation, but Moses didn’t do that. Moses listened to the burning bush and went to Pharoah’s door step and put some nasty plagues on his people. Eventually, he convinced Pharaoh to let the Isrealites go. However, as they were traveling Pharoah changed his mind. So with the Isrealites in front of the Red Sea, God parted the waters. Now I always imagined that to be like Sea world. You know when you are surrounded by glass and you can see all the animals around you. So Moses and his people got through and eventually made it to the promised land.

So thats my favorite story and I hope you liked it, but if you didn’t I really don’t care. Is it May yet?????

This Blog here is for my main man Coach Davis. This guy puts up with so much crap! You know I dont understand how he does it. He must be a magician or something. Especially from the girls in the class. I’m not gonna say any names, but cough(rachel miles)cough(lillian olive)cough(kendra weatherford)cough. Its always coach I’m tired, Coach I’m not popular, Coach write me a pass. Coach, I feel for you man. They do the same thing to me. We should start a group on facebook or something. Since you have one and all coach.

Next, I want to discuss the ACT. Now i believe this test is very inaccurate. Why you ask? Because it doesn’t show street smarts. I have street smarts,
I can survive where others can’t because of my street smarts. Is there a question on the ACT that asks “What should you do if you find yourself in a dark alley, alone, and you are approached by a couple of thugs?” Thats a simple answer…..you run as fast as you can and never look back. Heck, fly away, if you can.

Is it June yet?
We should of went to school during the ice storm

Thats it…
